Humana Is Ending Select Medicare Advantage Plans For 2027—What You Should Know
If you’re a Humana customer with a Medicare Advantage plan, also known as a Part C or an MA Plan, it could end next year.
During an earnings call on July 29, Celeste Mellet, chief financial officer at Humana, confirmed Medicare Advantage plan exits for 2027, impacting approximately 600,000 members.
As for the affected plans, Mellet said that the company would “remove or cut off the lower tail of profitability and returns.” Humana declined to comment when Forbes Advisor requested more details about which plans are being discontinued and when.
