Biography
Serving as Of-Counsel to Angiuli & Gentile, LLP, Elizabeth is committed to assisting clients in navigating the intricacies of their family court or matrimonial matter, while advocating for the best possible outcome for the client and their family. Elizabeth values her role in advising, encouraging, and serving clients as part of the family & matrimonial legal team at Angiuli & Gentile, LLP.
The focus of Elizabeth’s prior experience and practice has been dedicated to specializing with issues involving children, domestic violence, and matters pertaining to family or matrimonial law. Immediately prior to beginning her own law practice, Elizabeth served as the Staten Island Borough Supervisor for the Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project at the Staten Island Family Justice Center. There, Elizabeth implemented a trauma-informed legal approach in working for the largest victim services agency in the United States, where the primary goal was to contribute to the support and advocacy for victims of crime and abuse. Prior to working at Safe Horizon, Elizabeth worked as an Agency Attorney at the NYC Administration for Children’s Services within the Family Court Legal Services, litigating child abuse and neglect matters.
In 2017, Elizabeth graduated with a J.D. from Liberty School of Law in Virginia and obtained a concentration in both trial advocacy and family law. Elizabeth also has a legal background in working for a private law firm in Virginia specializing in nursing home abuse & neglect, advocating for vulnerable individuals in nursing home or assisted living settings.
Elizabeth is admitted to practice within New York and Virginia and maintains an active membership with the Staten Island Women’s Bar Association (SIWBA), having previously served a number of years on the SIWBA board.
