Annamarie G. Gentile Esq. becomes Vice Chair of Staten Island Chamber of Commerce

Annmarie G. Gentile was recently sworn in as Vice Chair of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. The Hon. Robert G. Gigante, Surrogate Richmond County, personally presided over the ceremony and administered the oath to Ms. Gentile on January 9, 2014 at which time other members of the Chamber's Executive Board of the Chamber were also sworn in.

Annamarie G. Gentile Esq., supervising partner of the Elder Law and Estate Planning Group at Angiuli & Gentile, LLP and associate Stefanie L. Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group's 'Business by the Beach' Event

Gary Angiuli, Esq. plans to contribute to the revival of borough's beer brewing industry in Staten Island

"Come January, the borough attorney [Gary Angiuli] based both in Tompkinsville and Dongan Hills -- as well as CEO of the Angiuli Group -- will house Flagship, a startup brewery, on his property at 215 Bay St. in Tompkinsville, former site of Angiuli Motors. It will be the anchor in a 33,000-square-foot facility he's dubbed "Back of the Bay," and it's a project Angiuli envisions as part of the "renaissance that Staten Island needs."

  • A 47-year-old building superintendent who sustained injuries to his head and right side of his body due to a tripping hazard at his job site received a settlement of $300,000.00 from the electrical company performing work at the site.
  • A 43 year old construction worker was caused to sustain injuries to his back, shoulder and hand when the elevator he was riding malfunctioned and dropped 8 floors. He received $350,000.00 in the settlement of his claim against the building owner, maintenance company and elevator company.
  • The administrator of the estate of a 69 year old man who suffered stage four pressure sores while a patient at a Queens nursing home settled the case for $400,000.00 after the man died.
